Esophagogastroduodenoscopy

That's the medical procedure I'm getting this afternoon. In layman's terms, it's "sticking a slim tube with light and camera down your throat so we can see why you're having trouble swallowing, and also so we can make our Mercedes payments."

  1. I've had that done, the tube is not so slim. Make sure the Valium has kicked in before you let them start.

    You have my sympathies

  2. I was asleep before they got started, and still a bit groggy. They took a couple of biospsies, and I have a bit of a sore throat, and back to bed now.

  3. Hope nothing serious ensues. Say a prayer for ya.
