Colbert
Stephen Colbert was called to Congress to testify, in character, about immigration policy. It somehow seems appropriate that this Administration would choose to get Congressional testimony from a fictional character.
The only real debate would be whether it was more or less truthful than the average Congresscritter's utterances or of the utterances of those usually testifying before Congress.
My bet is it was both more humorous and more truthful.
