Well, not having a good mind, am I then off the hook? I had thought it wasn't just having a good mind, but a good bank balance, that mattered (as far as being successful). Or was it having a good mind and a good heart? (as far as being happy)I'm still not convinced that intelligence is an actual long term evolutionary advantage....... and it will never substitute for a good heart (in my books anyway).
You're not off the hook--you need both the mind, and the proper use of it. As for whether you can substitute a brain for a heart, I suppose it depends on the recipe.
