Ambitious

Colonel O'Neill: "Something wrong?"
Major Carter: "No. I've just never...blown up a star before."
O'Neill: "Well, they say the first one is always the hardest."

I think Mackay, from Stargate Atlantis, might actual do this more than once. You get to see him at some point in Season 4-6 of Stargate SG-1. He gets some of his obnoxious rubbed off (some) by the start of Atlantis and is likable enough (if still flawed) by the end of Season 5.

I am still looking to acquire Farscape on DVD as well as the Slipstream edition of Andromeda.

Stargate is amazingly more enjoyable to me than about half of the star trek stuff and than most of the last 3 star wars movies. It's more accessible and the characters are more endearing.

Firefly still has my heart, but their wasn't enough of it. And the new Battlestar Galactica, for all it was cool and excellently filmed and was dramatic as heck, was a sort of tortous ride.

I'm looking forward to a new SG-1 movie, a new Atlantis movie, and seeing more of Stargate:Infinity.
