Rules for Writing a Novel in 30 Days

Taken from Catherynne Valente's article:
  • Be a Genius. You do not have the luxury of not being a genius–not being a genius is laziness and sloth.
  • Make sure everyone knows what you're doing.
  • Be crazy. Let go of your internal editor.
  • Sacrifice your body. You weren't using it anyway.
  • Don't fail.
