Hummingbird

We had a hummingbird buzz around the flowers on our back deck, briefly--she was gone by the time I got the camera. That's the first time I've seen one here.

If you want more, buy a hummingbird feeder. They fill with a sucrose solution. My folks have one or two hanging outside the back window of their place and they get several a day.

On the other hand, bees, wasps, etc. will also find them. It's a mixed bag. It is kind of interesting to see the hummingbirds playing 'fuel-and-go' while dodging the occasional wasp. Those little birds have crazy manouverability.
