Very nice citation! Really, very nice! I tried to write short stories but failed as there were too many influences of different writes I read before. But without it you will not be able to write, without reading so many books I mean. So there’s a circle – on the one hand you should read in order to write, on the other hand you should resist influences f other authors’ styles.
