Friday night: slept from about 4:30pm to 10:30pm, by which time Josh was asleep. Played poker with a couple of the other guys in the suite, then watched Holland beat Brasil in the World Cup quarter finals. Somewhere around now, I finished Those Who Hunt The Night.

Holland beating Brazil was a great game.
I felt awful for Ghana getting cheated of a victory over Paraguy and have no sadness those cheaters were eliminated. OTOH, Ghana would not have beat the Netherlands.
I am surprised about Germany beating Spain, I must admit. I'm rooting for the Dutch in the final. Why?
Well, not much to choose between spanish beauties and gorgeous dutch girls, so the fan issue is a wash. However, I'm tied for first in a pool with two other guys and the only way we can have a winner (me and another guy can accumulate no more points) is if Spain wins and thus oe of the other guys wins.
So That means I'm rooting for the Dutch.
