I'm skeptical that countdown, pronounced and spelled as it is, is French.
#6 is typical of PR.
I also think I have more than 6 friends in my inner circle and more than 10 in ring 2. I might have 150 or more in total.
Canada never bordered Zimbabwe. Neither existed at the time the rock the article mentions was co-located.
You get a lot more clicks by saying "Canada" and "Zimbabwe" than you do by saying "the portion of the land mass which, 75 million years later...."
